Lauryn “L-A” Harold is an international production sound engineer, documentary filmmaker, educator, and co-founder of Harold Motor Sports. Born in London, raised in Jacksonville, Florida, and educated in New York, she has been working in Paris and across the U.S. and Europe for the past few years. She is now located in New York City where she teaches undergrad students at New York University (NYU) Tisch School of the Arts.

Specializing in location sound for film, docs, and tv, L-A brings a dynamic, global perspective to every project. Bilingual in English and French, she thrives in international environments and enjoys collaborating with diverse creative teams. Alongside her work in production, L-A is a dedicated professor and editor who is passionate about education and skilled in many NLE softwares. She is committed to mentoring the next generation of filmmakers and strives to inspire her students to give the same high quality of works she brings to every project.

In addition to her creative career, L-A is also a semi-professional footballer, formerly playing for Paris FC, reflecting the same discipline and team spirit she brings to her work on set.
