Lauryn “L-A” Harold is an international production sound engineer, documentary filmmaker, educator, and co-founder of Harold Motor Sports. Born in London, raised in Jacksonville, Florida, and educated in New York, she is now based in Paris and works across the U.S. and Europe.

Specializing in location sound for film, docs, and tv, L-A brings a dynamic, global perspective to every project. Bilingual in English and French, she thrives in international environments and enjoys collaborating with diverse creative teams. Alongside her work in production, L-A is a dedicated professor and editor who is passionate about education and skilled in many NLE softwares. She is committed to mentoring the next generation of filmmakers and strives to inspire her students to give the same high quality of works she brings to every project.

In addition to her creative career, L-A is also a semi-professional footballer, reflecting the same discipline and team spirit she brings to her work on set.
